Discussion of the World Government project.

While we may encounter a wealth of contradictory information about this man online, we agree on one thing: Elon is a man who, in ways often surprising to us, sets the pace of progress and propels it forward, ensuring that each of us can enjoy the benefits of progress that are available to us today.

And what is required of each of us? Every person on this earth simply needs to realize and understand what kind of society would be good for us—how the world should be structured so that it is a pleasant and comfortable place for everyone to live in.

It is for this very realization and understanding that I launched this project. Within this project, I will propose structures for the world order, and every participant can express their views, supplement, or radically alter any of the proposed theses. From there, we can arrive at an ideal vision of the world and present it to our governments—those who, I believe, will listen to the voice of reason and help bring our vision to life.

I see the solution to the current global conflicts in the creation of a global, unipolar world. However, by "unipolar world," I do not mean the dominance of one country or state over the others, but rather the creation of a world government composed of the leaders of all nations. The idea is that a country's elected leader moves to a specially designated territory for the duration of their term to facilitate the government's work and residence.

Countries retain everything that constitutes the soul and body of national life: their own parliament, local laws, culture, language, and traditions. A parliament is nothing more than a small but authoritative group of elected individuals whom citizens trust with daily governance: the police and schools, hospitals and roads, urban planning, and social support. These people know their land, its needs, and its aspirations; they speak the same language as their fellow citizens and are directly accountable to them. No one takes away a country's face—on the contrary, it becomes more vivid because it is freed from the burden of global wars and endless geopolitical intrigues.

Yet, there are issues that even the wisest parliament cannot solve alone. Climate change recognizes no borders, space debris does not ask for visas, economic crises traverse oceans in a matter of hours, and new pandemics threaten everyone without exception. It is precisely for such challenges that a world government is needed.

She acknowledges that people are tied to their land and grants them the right to decide their own destiny at the local level. But she also recognizes that humanity has become too small for the old zero-sum games. The planet's resources are finite, while our collective risks are infinite. Therefore, the world government takes on only what truly cannot be delegated downwards: climate policy, arms control, global infrastructure development, and universe-scale scientific projects.

And most importantly: the leaders in this council are neither life-long dictators nor appointed bureaucrats. Their tenure on the global stage is limited by the duration of their national mandates. National parliaments retain the right to recall their representative if they cease to listen to the voice of their people. This creates a natural feedback mechanism: global decisions must be beneficial to every country; otherwise, its parliament will simply replace the delegate. In this way, we avoid both the tyranny of the majority and the paralysis of the minority.

A world without conflict does not mean a world without disagreement. Disagreements will remain—they drive progress. But they will no longer be a pretext for war, as they will be resolved not on the battlefield, but at the negotiating table, where everyone has equal access to facts, expertise, and arguments.

World government is not a dictatorship; it is the highest form of democracy, where the sovereignty of each country is respected but limited by the common good, just as one person's rights end where another's nose begins.

Many will say: "And who will guarantee that this council won't turn into a club for the chosen few?" The system itself will be the guarantor: transparent reports, independent courts, public oversight through global media, and, finally, direct feedback from parliaments. If the council makes a decision that contradicts the interests of the majority of countries, parliaments can initiate a referendum or demand a review. This is not a perfect mechanism, but it is infinitely better than the current chaos, where the strong always overpower the weak, and the weak seek allies to strike back.

Such a world is not the end of history, but its maturation. We cease to be tribes fighting over a bone and become a civilization capable of planning its future for millennia ahead. Each country remains unique, but they all agree to live by common rules, just as neighbors in an apartment building agree not to make noise at night or flood one another. This is not an ideal; it is a necessity. And the only question is whether we will have the courage to take the first step.

You write that a world government would consist of the leaders of all nations. But these leaders are elected by their people to protect national interests. If they move to a "central city" and begin making global decisions, won't they betray the interests of their own countries? What happens when the interests of the planet and those of a specific country come into conflict? For example, if a global council decided to shut down all coal-fired power plants, a country that relies on coal would lose its jobs and its economy.

This is the most poignant and honest question one can ask. And I will answer it not evasively, but directly: betrayal is impossible where everything is in plain sight.

Our world is built on a simple and clear principle: transparency is the best defense. Every leader, by taking a seat in the world council, remains not merely an abstract "representative," but a living human being whose every move is observed by their own fellow citizens. The country's parliament, remaining in the homeland, sees every vote cast by its delegate. Every "for" and "against" becomes public knowledge in that very instant. No secret rooms, no backroom deals—only an open record, accessible to every citizen.

This is where the natural mechanism of accountability takes effect. A leader is elected for a specific term—and that term becomes not a privilege, but a trial. When the time for the next elections arrives, the parliament (and through it, the entire nation) no longer guesses; they know: how their envoy voted, whose interests they defended, where they compromised, and where they stood their ground. And based on these facts, they make the decision—whether to extend their mandate for a new term or to entrust this honor to someone else.

But here, it is vital to emphasize the most important point: the non-renewal of a term is not a punishment, not a disgrace, and not a career collapse. It is a natural progression of events, like the changing of the seasons.

You propose leaving a "small but authoritative group of elected individuals" in every country. But who defines what "small" means? 10 people? 50? 500? And most importantly: if the parliament is small, won't it become vulnerable to takeover by oligarchs or corporations? After all, big business could simply "buy" 10 deputies and control the entire country. How will you protect the parliament from corruption if it is so small?

In my opinion, the size of the parliament does not matter. We all need to understand that the world, with the development of technology, is changing globally. Members of Parliament shall hold elected positions for a time determined by the world government. The size of the parliament can be determined by the number of regions in each country. In such a structure, we need not be afraid of oligarchs and corporations, as the government regulates the allocation of resources between countries, regulates the common world constitution, works for the benefit of man and the planet, and corporations in such a system only help to promote progress and prosperity. In such a system, any person born in the world should have everything to live comfortably, study and choose their profession. With the development of AI in the near future, all complex and time-consuming tasks will be performed by robots, and only creativity and ingenuity will remain for a person, the development of technologies for a comfortable and comfortable life.
